Great place to be around end of december to middle of January. Takes only 50 minutes drive from launceston city. A lot of parking available. Its free to enter for Tasmanian residents bit for overseas or interstate tourist its $25 per person to enter. House made lavender ice cream is the most liked thing among other stuffs. There is a cafeteria and rest room available. Go and explore yourself to get the most of it.

I believe best time to visit this place is the start of January till mid February, time when you will find lavender around, besides that good food but the cafe and shop needs little attention, at least shop should have a Lavender aroma inside. Cafe was under construction. Good place to visit around photos taken in October.

First, I’ll start off with the fact that the lavender ice cream was really delicious. The organisation of the cafe in terms of ordering on one side and picking up on the other side, is all over the place. It was a little confusing.

Buzzing with lots of visitors today. Stunning fields (to be honest didn’t expect the reality to live up to the photos but WOW). Rooke some time to get through the gate and cafe was hectic but staff amazing and wait time once ordered really quick. Enjoyable for mobility impaired mum - could experience the place without a lot of walking. For those who want to walk - plenty of space to avoid the crowds.
